Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
A different path toward healing.
Virtual Intensive Outpatient Care for Adults in Texas
You don't have to put your life completely on hold to get meaningful support.
Middle Pathways Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides structured, compassionate mental health and recovery care for adults who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy can provide, while maintaining the flexibility to continue living at home, working, attending school, and staying connected to their communities.
Our approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that healing doesn't have to look like perfection.
OUR APPROACH
We don't believe there is one right way to heal.
Middle Pathways brings together evidence-based approaches with experiential and body-based practices to help clients understand themselves, build skills, and create sustainable change.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Develop practical skills for managing intense emotions, navigating relationships, tolerating distress, and responding to difficult situations with expanded mindfulness.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Learn to make room for difficult thoughts and emotions while moving toward the values and life that matter to you.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Explore the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and develop new ways of responding to challenges.
Nutrition Support
For clients experiencing eating disorders or disordered eating, nutrition support can help rebuild trust with food and the body while moving away from rigid rules, shame, and diet culture.
Gentle Movement
Explore movement as a form of connection, regulation, and care rather than punishment or compensation.
Somatic Experiencing
Develop greater awareness of the body's responses to stress and trauma and learn ways to support nervous system regulation.
Additional Individual & Family Therapy
Individual and family therapy may be available as an additional service when clinically appropriate.
